MoonTalker Monthly - June 2026

Welcome June! Welcome Summer! I've missed you!

The summer crept in. Well, crept may not be the right word. It’s been steamy out there. Hot, rainy, and the summation of hot and rainy… steamy. I am a true lover of summer. I love the imagery it conveys. The freedom, the potential for exploration, the unadulterated fun in the sun. I am a summer baby. Born in the deep heat of Florida. And while I’m on that note, the babies! Yes. Summer, more specifically, June, is the time of babies here at MoonWalker.

Our beloved hen, Sage, took on the tone of broody and successfully hatched four tiny chicks. Borage, Chamomile, Chicory, and Comfrey.

We also fostered a dog. Cheeto was his name. We did not gift him this curious name. He was both a delight and a menace. What more could you expect from a foster dog? He is welcome back any time.

Early in the month our little city celebrated one of it’s most treasured traditions. The Mermaid Parade and Festival. Our very own Artie collaborated with the event organizers and put together a market to accompany the days activities. I am lacking in photos from the event. It was a busy (and steamy) day.

Just this past weekend Artie also vended at Rare Bird’s Lightning Bug Tiny Music & Arts Festival. Another successful day. Also hot and rainy. I’m sensing a theme.

And finally, I’ll tease something vague. We here at MoonWalker are busy bees. Ah, that reminds me. I need to crack open our bee hive and see how the girls are handling the summer. But back to my point. We are busy working on many things. Many things that will soon be shared with the world. This month we here at MoonWalker made a not unsubstantial investment in our in-house print and crafting studio. This little workshop will be churning away before you know it.

Now go forth. Enjoy the summery critters. Find somewhere to swim. Sit in the sun. We that sunscreen or embrace a little burn. Be safe. Don’t overheat. Take care of yourselves.
