MoonWalker Month - July and August 2026

MoonWalker Month - July and August 2026

Folks, can you really blame me for being late? So what I missed July and also maybe August? I was enjoying my summer!

In July we made our way down to the great state of Florida to bake in the sun at the beach for a week. This was vacation y’all. That means I’m not obligated to tell you anything about it! Just kidding. We got to be tourists in our old stomping grounds. We went to tacky gift shops, ran away from torrential downpours on the beach, hunted for the best shells mother nature has to offer, saw some really spectacular birds, and even ended up paddling up and then down Rainbow Springs.

July and August were bountiful. The chickens have been laying about a dozen eggs a day. Our garden has delivered many a flower and many more a tomato. We were able to try a drop of honey from our bees. Sourwood honey we think. It was spicy and ran quite clear. Picture it… hot and sweaty, tearing away the hood of a bee suit to get one roadside finger lick of freshly plucked honeycomb. The fruits of summer labors.

Folks. It’s September. Stay tuned. I know you’re out there. MoonWalker will find it’s footing yet.
